Abstract

Diverse collection of cookbooks which were produced by various companies to advertise their products. Companies and products include Frigidare appliances, Baker's chocolate, Jello gelatine, Metropolitan life insurance, Heinz sauces, Armour meats, Waring blenders, and many more. Many of the cookbooks provide social commentary on women's roles and emerging technologies as well as detailed information about company histories and product development.
